Synergy Trails were invited by Blue Mountains City
Council to audit an existing substandard trail network,
rescue the design, and deliver a sustainable and
high quality Cross-Country MTB trail network and an
improved Downhill experience for the local community.
As part of this project, Synergy Trails directed a
Volunteer building and maintenance program, and
as a result, have doubled the active trail length and
improved the quality and lifecycle potential of the entire
network. It is now safer, more sustainable and a vital
part of the local community recreation facilities.
We are now involved with Blue Mountains City Council
in the development of the Blue Mountains Escarpment
Plan, focusing on the feasibility stage of a linking
network from Richmond to Glenbrook and beyond into
the Western Sydney parklands in one direction, and
into the upper Blue Mountains as well.
